This was the Standells last album. It is arguably their best album ever, despite its schizoid nature. The tracks were taken from various recording sessions, and there isn’t a consistent sound throughout the album. What I mean by that is, while most of the tracks feature the “classic” Standells garage punk sound, there are a handful of tracks that attempt to re-invent the band as a “blue eyed soul” group
