I used to love Captain Crawl as a quick find for almost anything (so long as what you’re looking for is in the title of the blog post). But then they started these fucking obnoxious video ads… for stupid shit like detergent. What am I, a mom? Fuck off. Well, at least you could pause the ads, some were even Youtube videos go figure. But now they have un-turn-off-able video ads. Which sucks ass cos when I’m on the ‘net I’m usually listening to music (MY music – not piped music through other blogs thank you very much dumbasses. But that’s another rant).
Now I realize they’ve got to pay for the wonderful service they provide, maybe even make money. I don’t begrudge them that. But there are many far less obnoxious ways to do it. I don’t want to be listening to Connie Converse’s delicate melodies and suddenly hear some asshole hacking phlegm in a flu remedy commercial. Christ!
So I will soon remove the Captain Crawl link.
