VHS HeadTrademark Ribbons of Gold
Electronic music created by sampling old VHS tapes and mashing them together. No one knows who’s behind this project either – so it could be any number of veteran artists or, more impressively, a fresh new artist, which would make this even more awesome.

New 7 track EP from a relatively new band. They play a sweet mix of surf and indie pop to make awesome surf pop. Another keeper for the summer.

Compared to the overworked, overproduced indie pop of today the sound of The Spinanes debut album sounds raw. But it is all the better for that. A record of catchy, original, punky-pop music. Featuring multitracked guitars and vocals, it could have been the work of a bigger group rather than a duo. A forgotten gem?

Pretty countryish, popish, folkish songs. Very dreamlike.
